PEDIATRIC PODIATRY | SOUTH TEXAS FOOT SPECIALIST

Foot and ankle problems encountered by infants include clubfoot, intoeing, outoeing, difficulty walking as well as congenital foot deformities.  Such deformities can be most effectively treated by conservative means in infancy as bones and joints of the foot are relatively undeveloped and deformities are reducible.

Once children are old enough to participate in sports, foot and ankle injuries need to be treated by an experienced pediatric podiatrist. If left untreated, this injuries can cause problems later in life.

Dr. Davis is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.  He is a member of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics.
